FAQ

How do I book?
The easiest way to book is online via the website, but if you are experiencing difficulty please call us, we are happy to help; Our phones are answered Mon - Sat: 9am - 5pm / 6pm and 10am to 1pm on a Sunday.

How do I pay?
A deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before arrival.

We will invoice you for this via email as it becomes due.

Payments can be made online via paypal, either using a paypal account or a credit/debit card using the link on your invoice.

We can’t take payment over the telephone.

Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.

What other charges are there?

No other charges, although we do have optional extras to make your stay even more special..these can be seen on the add ons when making a booking.

 

​What are the arrival and departure times?

The general arrival time is 4pm (You may arrive at 2pm for £50

The general departure time is 10am (You may depart at 11:30am for £50

Can I stay for just one night?
Our minimum stay is 2 nights throughout the year for weekends. One night breaks are offered mid week or subject to availability / last minute on weekends.

 

Is the lodge well equipped?

The lodge has all kitchen utensils you will need. There is an oven / hob and microwave.  Iron and ironing board can be borrowed from reception. All have a dining area, and TV and DVD player in the living area.There will be some washing up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, dish cloth, tea towel, bin bag, and a toilet roll in your lodge to get you started, but the lodge is self catering so do bring your own consumables!

What should I bring with me?

You may consider a hairdryer and flip flops for getting to and from the hot tub. Towels are not provided.

 

Does the lodge have a hot tub?
Yes. 

Are children wecome?

SleepingTree Lodge is adults only. Our other lodges on site at Kaowood (sleeping 2-8) do allow children.

Can I bring my dog / cat?
We do not allow pets into SleepingTree Lodge, however our lodges at Kaowood do.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you are unfortunate enough to have to cancel your booking and there is:

 

More than 14 days till arrival date, we will issue a refund minus the value of the deposit (30%). Alternatively monies paid can be used as a credit against a holiday any time in the following 12 months or can be transferred by the customer to benefit someone else.

 

Between 14 days and 48hrs until arrival date, no refund will be made however monies paid can be used as a credit against a holiday any time in the following 12 months or can be transferred by the customer to benefit someone else.

 

Less than 48 hours until arrival date, no refund will be made and dates are non transferable, however the customer may transfer the booking to another party.

 

We advise you to consider taking out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation.
